The name Mud Puddle originated on a family all-terrain (ATV) adventure in the Allegheny Mountains near Philipsburg, Pennsylvania in 2005. During one of the many stops of the 110 mile journey, one principal member looked down, saw a puddle of water and said, "If we ever open a winery, we should consider the name Mud Puddle."  

That name remained with the family over the years.  

 

​Since then, Brian, the head wine maker, toyed with the idea and began to craft his skills.  He attended wine shows and competitions allowing us to share our wine with you today. As we reflect upon that great day which led us to the joys of the palate, we hope with each sip our customers reflect upon their own adventures, their times of joy within and the happiness that surrounds them.  From our family to yours, we invite you to raise your glass in cheer and enjoy!
